Off late i have been angry with the way things happen in India. Everybody wants a say but no body is ready to question back. Why is it so? Are we afraid of questioning or we just want to adjust and live the way we are cribbing !!!
Last week i wanted to book gas, the whole week i kept trying the phone of that dealer which is continuously engaged...Yes for one good week any time you call all you hear is ___________ and then keep trying and trying..One day i lost patience and then saw their online portal where you can book gas online and then when i did register i saw this dealer is not available for online booking...And then i lost it..I just logged in a complaint against the dealer mentioning its impossible for working ladies to book a gas and even all the other people have to travel a lot to come to him and personally book a gas. And then i went on Saturday to book gas then i saw almost a group of people fighting with the lady in the counter about the same issue..I gave her the number and said i want to book gas..she said its already booked and will be delivered soon..When i came home i got the gas..I was late in checking the other mail account which i used for complaining in which i got a reply saying my gas is booked and if again the same repeats i can lodge a complaint with the GM in Pune...I said wonderful at least some thing in India works the way it should...
But then again to my disappointment i see the petrol filling station guys behaviour. We normally fill petrol from a company owned petrol pump believing that there is nothing this guys would mix in petrol.. Now we have been filling petrol from the same station for almost years now. Last to last week i guess the petrol prices were hiked and i see many people asking for normal petrol instead of speed since the price is on the higher side by 3/-. Now this guy has stopped selling normal petrol. After the price increase we went thrice to fill petrol and all the time this guy said is there is no Normal petrol all we have is Speed petrol. I asked him why he says company is not supplying normal petrol.
I wanted to blast him saying there are no tankers separately that comes for speed petrol only the pits are different you fill normal petrol to the speed petrol pit and then add ingredients to make it speed petrol. Now if you know all people want is normal petrol why cant you fill that pit and sell normal petrol..But then i hold back i told him give me a bill, he gave me a bill with no dealer ship number no address..I told him give me a proper bill i want to write to your company and understand why they are not supplying normal petrol. He is like you can complain over here i told him i don't want to..I will write to the company..He started giving me reasons...All i said to him is "you guys play with us since there is no one to question you"
What i don't understand is why can't people be honest in doing things..And if somebody is not why do we think so much to question them...I got irritated when this guy was selling speed petrol to all of them who are asking normal petrol..By the time i finished with him i almost saw 10 cars asking for normal petrol and this guy filling speed petrol for a tank full of petrol..Disgusting guys...Learn some honesty and sincerity and be honest in at least replying..say we are instructed to do so..i would still accept it...and then speak with the person who has instructed them to do so..I don't think as a company Bharat Petroleum will instruct its dealers to do so..But the person who has a dealership can happily instruct his workers to do so...
Now i am searching for the right person to write a complain about the BP guys...

I think i have got into the idea of visiting all the capital cities in India...One such visit to a beautiful pink city...
Jaipur is called pink city since half of the city (Old city) is all painted in pink...All the shops buildings and all the things are painted in pink. It is so because the Raja who built Jaipur after amer decided to do so...He also built a great architecture...All the roads are designed in such a way that there are no curves..They all meet at right angles and every such meeting of four roads must have a monument or a fountain. It is wonderful to see the old city.
We did visit Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Amer Palace and Jal Mahal..All of them are well maintained compared to the palaces that are maintained in Maharastra. The way they have made audio guides are wonderful. This time i preferred to try one after saying No to one such thing in Qutub Minar in Delhi. One of the reason is that we both don't know history of these buildings and the guides were demanding enormous amounts compared to audio guide.I found it informative and reasonable. Contrary to all the mahals we did hire a guide in amer palace and i hardly heard what he said since he was repeating the same story that was written over there.
Hawa Mahal is a very nice construction made for then Queens to see the happenings of the city with out coming out in public which was not allowed then due to parda system...It is really wonderful to see the market from inside, You can keep a chair at any of the window you like and sit and see the city from inside as the wind blows by you.
The architecture is done on the outside walls while the inside walls remain normal.
The view from one of the window....It is a five storied building. From the top you can see Jantar Mantar, City Palace and Nahargarh fort and amer fort.
Next destination was Jantar Mantar..I did not happen to understand anything of what it is and how did they try and estimate things..But i did appreciate the efforts of the Raja to build such thing in order to predict the solar and lunar eclipses and the positions of the sun and the zodiac signs.
City Palace is also a wonderful creation. The Raja used to stay here and the palace is still maintained very neatly and the architecture and the other things are still preserved. The armour museum is wonderful and astonishing to see..all the swords and their information is very well organized. The audio guide would explain everything about daggers, swords and armours too...
The amer Palace is wonderful. One who has seen Jodha Akbar would like to see the palace. The architects had built in such a way that the summers can be spent in a place which is built of marbles and the water flow on slides built so that the wind will get cooled and the water then reaches the garden in between the fort. From the fort you will be able to see the Wall of Jaipur which is a 12km stretch.
And then the next thing we did is Shop...of course i did not buy too much of stuff but it is good to see the bazaars...all in pink and all the guys would call you with only one name Didi...Their point of bargaining is also catchy...they would say aap ki bhai ko itna kam paise denge...Instead i would say bargain as much as you can cause all the prices are triple since it is a tourist place...

Rawat Kachori - Famous kachori center in Jaipur...People were fighting to get a plate for themselves...
Thinking what would be my next place of visit...Even i don't know..Will search for a capital again...Lucknow maybe..
